Campion Reunion 2005

Honors the Class of 1975's 30^th 

Includes the Classes of 72 through 77.

The intent of a multi-class event is that many of us would enjoy seeing members of the classes that graduated before us as well as those who were a bit younger. For those classes that did not have the fortune of graduating from Campion, this would provide them an opportunity to gather with people they spent significant time with, recognizing that there might not otherwise be a venue for such a gathering.

When we reach the 30-year mark in terms of time since graduation, it seems important that we do all we can to include as many as possible to have a successful event and hopefully reconnect. Time marches on, and looking forward, health, retirement moves, etc., could begin to make it harder for us to find classmates and gather in the decades ahead of us if we miss this milestone. And memories tend to grow dimmer… Thus, having the multi-class event, allowing so many people an opportunity to congregate this year, seems like a worthwhile venture.

Preliminary Plan for the Event:

Friday: Possible evening event at a local establishments that classes would organize on their own. Potential Cocktail Party and Dinner cruise on Lake Michigan.

Saturday:

Mass 5 p.m.

Cocktail Reception 6 p.m. - 7:30 p.m.

Dinner 7:30 p.m. Entertainment, Speakers, Slide Show with Pictures

Having the event in Chicago will provide a destination that is easy to reach for those who would be traveling and provides a myriad of possibilities for pre- and post-reunion fun and gatherings.
