Milwaukee, WI - August 2010

Thought that you might be interested in a recent gathering of some of the men from Campion '64. You should have the PDF of our 40th Anniversary Edition of the Campion "Ette." Thanks again for all the work you do in maintaining the site and keeping us together. Bob Lachance

A few weeks ago several of us decided to fly into Milwaukee to have dinner with a few of the friends we had made from the Jesuit Scholastic Faculty at Campion. When word got out our little dinner grew into a little bigger event. We had 14 guys coming from Wisconsin, Iowa, Illinois, Ohio, Michigan, New Jersey, Florida, Minnesota, Colorado, and Idaho. Frs. Teske, O'Leary, and Mathie organized a private Mass at the Jesuit Residence at Marquette. We then adjourned to Zarletti's for some fine dining and socializing. Classmates participating were Frank Geppert, Bill Morrow, Jim Hidding, Bob Lachance, Mark Kisting, Terry Mied, Rick Mullin, Jack Egan, Bernie O'Malley, Jim Kridelbaugh, Rick Ansay, Ed Lyons, Ted Glaser, and Ted Swartz.

The friendships that we began when we first met 50 years ago on our arrival in Prairie du Chien have been renewed over the past 10 years as we find ways to gather as large and small groups, as well as individual couples. Our 40th was held in Prairie and included a dinner river cruise on a sternwheeler steamboat. Our 45th was celebrated with spouses at the Lincolnshire outside Chicago. We are committed to maintaining contact and making another major effort for the 50th.
