HOTEL INFORMATION
You will need to make your own room reservation using your credit card.
We have a $155/night rate (which is great for downtown Chicago). They
may have 5 doubles, so if you want to split the cost you can do so
depending upon availability and if you can track down a roommate.
Rooms must be reserved by 5PM on Sept.24th or they’ll be released.

FRIDAY NIGHT HOOK UP
The Sienna Room in the Hotel is Friday night's rendezvous point. It
will be available after 3, but golfers won't get there until around 5PM.
Bar on 2nd floor. Union Rules say we can't bring any booze or beer to
the room. I remember the Jebbies saying that also. We'll just sublimate
what & when we can. Plan is meet there, light food/cocktails and greet the
arrivals.
FRIDAY AFTERNOON GOLF
Tom Kuzlik is jumping on this grenade. Plan is to play Harborside Golf
Course just south of the city. Kuz needs to know ASAP if you're planning

Tee times will be around noon.
HOOPS
As most of you know we lost Charlie this Spring. In his honor we're
going to lace them up in the Charlie Riley One Time Only Memorial
Basketball Game. This will be late Saturday morning.
DINNER SATURDAY NIGHT
The idea is to get a private room at a decent restaurant and have a giant
food fight. Seriously Nick is going to get us a place to break bread and
have nice meal. Rush Street possibly to follow.
SUNDAY
Possible Mass @ The Cathedral, a few blocks away followed by brunch.
COST
I'm asking for a donation of $100 to cover Friday night room rental, food
& booze. I'm not sure if this is enough but it will get us started. We
may pass the hat again if need be. This includes a CAMPION 73 Reunion Polo
Shirt. Need shirt size.

This idea started @ Charlie's wake (Kuz, Loras, Lapper, Durango, Jerry
& a few brews) and that’s when we learned about Bob Schmidt also.

ORIGINAL PROPOSED PLAN - DEPRECATED
Played golf last week with Kuz. And last weekend with Schrup. Went to 7
different hotels in downtown Chicago to get rates and check out their
bars¦..I'm zeroing in on this.
I'mm zeroing on Friday 17th & Saturday the 18th. There is a convention
that is leaving Friday so rates aren't bad. Oct 1, 2 would be back up
date but then golf gets iffy. Here's possible agenda...
FRIDAY NOON-----Harborside Golf course tee times noon thru whenever.
Guys could pick up fellas @ O'Hare & Midway in the morning & head to course.
FRIDAY AFTERNOON----Hotel check in Hospitality Suite open
FRIDAY NIGHT---heavy oredurves or catered food @ hotel as guys roll in
SATURDAY MORNING 11 AM¦..Charlie Riley Memorial Hoffman Gym NBA game. Lace
them up boys

Please put any feedback into this you want. I need help, but I know we
need to set date. I have hotel packages coming in already. I told the
guy from the Marriott that we weren't interested in $249/night but I do
have some $159 plus incentives ..more to follow.
