Since we have decided to hold our reunion over Labor Day weekend in PDC, we need to get going on booking our rooms and events sooner rather than later. I urge all those that are coming to make your reservations for golf and rooms soon. The area is going to be very busy with end of summer activities. In talking to various hotels, they are all expecting a sellout weekend and, as such, I have not been able to negotiate any discounts on rooms. Travel will be very busy as well so make your plans early. I will be going to PDC about 4/17 to spend a night and make additional/final arrangements and will report to you again after that. In the meantime, please see the hotel and golf info below and take action asap....first come first served!
Golf info:
JIm Behrendt has graciously (if that term can be applied to him!!) agreed to handle all golf activities for the weekend. Please contact Jim directly if you'd like to sign up for some antics on the greens. Email him at jimbehrendt@goodknightrans.com or, if you need to call him, use: 847-894-0873

Here is a link for additional hotels in the area if you can't get when you want or need different/cheaper arrangements...you're on your own. http://www.prairieduchien.org/visitors/lodging.htm
I am planning to have some sort of dinner/catered event Saturday night as the focus or our get together... please get ready to tell all your outrageous lies, half truths, and urban legend stories during this time! I'll have more info on events and times as we get closer to the event.
If you are planning on coming, please email me back directly so I have an idea what to expect and plan for...again, the sooner the better but no later than early July. Surely, with all your life experiences and superb education at Campion, you can plan ahead that far!
Can't wait to see you all and have a great time together again!!
Best Regards,
Tuber
Hi Knights-here's the quick golf overview.
Unofficial game plan -If you are interested and your schedule allows for a Friday afternoon round let me know please and we all figure something out.
Official game plan
SAT/SUN tee times start about 10am both days.
Saturday will be a scramble aka best ball. If you don' know what a scramble is- you have until September to learn.
I will put together foursomes accordingly:
1) IQ and Hair.
2) Race color and creed.
3) Drinking capacity.
4) Where you sat in study hall.
5) Handicap (if you have one and if not give me your average score for 9 or 18 holes) if you don't know what a handicap is you have until September to learn.
Sunday we can all play a regular round. I can put together foursomes with the above criteria or you can get a foursome together just let me know.
Bottom line:
Please advise me if playing FRI, SAT and or SUN.
Please advise handicap or average score.
Please advise if you have or are part of a twosome, threesome or foursome for Sunday or don't care.
Down the road I'll advise times and teams/foursomes for Saturday and Sunday.
Miscellaneous

In responce to Warren's question about wives attending...I will be attending. I will scout around for some things to do for anyone who will not be golfing, like myself, such as a tour of the Villa Louis, a trip to Pikes Peak, a shopping trip to the Cannery, setting up a tempory hospital at the hotel for those injured while golfing and drinking and keeping jail watch over Chas! Attached are a few pics from my last trip to PdC. See you there!
