Class of 1972 30th Reunion

NEW and FINAL update!!

30 June, 2001

Ok people, since the Chas and Tuber cross country (well almost) Reunion update and barnstorming U-Haul Nation revival and promotional tour is over, and we have pestered most of the Bros between (and in) Chicago and Washington DC, including the fine communities of Morris, Ill. (huh??) New Buffalo, Mi (where??) and Akron, Oh. ( but why??) it's now time to get off your asses if you haven't already and make plans for the 30th Rowdy Reunion at the Grand Geneva Resort and Spa Labor Day weekend.

We have only a limited number of rooms left on hold and it's first come first served. We have 23 booked already and besides our reunion, there is a big golf tournament that week and of course Labor Day weekend will fill the place up. So get your RSVP'S in NOW!!!! Those of you that can't get rooms will have to camp at Abbies farm, or if not there I hear Lipke can get camping at Miller's Field in Milwaukee for a bargin price, although the commute to/from Lake Geneva might be a bit tuff after a day of partying.

The main "event" will be Saturday evening with a banquet and speakers so if you can be there only one night that's the one you want. I will have an agenda for you at the front desk when you check in and more will be available there and in the hospitality suite we'll have (hhmm... maybe suite is to nice of a word - "cage" might be better!).

A list of lost souls we could think up is below and I am asking you all to do your networking and make sure as many of our brothers are aware of this as possible. Please steer them to our reunion website www.keva.com/campion for information and a guestbook to leave messages on. Here are the critical details once more:

Dates: 8/30 - 9/02

Location: Grand Geneva Resort, Lake Geneva, WI

RSVP's: MUST be made by 7/31 as rooms will not be held after that date. Call (xxx) xxx-xxxx or (xxx) xxx-xxxx and make sure you ask for the Campion Reunion rate. Believe me - you'll save yourself a lot of money! Please try to leave a total number of people in your party to help us estimate the banquet.

Abbie has graciously volunteered to honcho the golf activities so those interested should please contact him at rathford, or call him at xxx-xxx-xxxx. It ain't cheap there (about $115.00/round) but I am trying to get some break on that. There's also the spa, pool, waterpark, bars, downtown, good stories and lots of laughs.

We don't have particulars on the banquet yet; but that is probably going to run about 45.00 per person and a cash bar. Hey.. we only do this every 30 years so what the hell! Joe Williamson is working this part of the weekend so if anything goes wrong... BLAME HIM! Watch this website for more info on the banquet!!Tuber will be checking in on 8/28 to try and get things settled and ready to go. I expect to see you all there sometime after that! See the missing persons list below and GO GET THEM!!!!!

Peace.... Tuber.. With help from Chas
