John Lawler was the guy who back in the 1800's offered land and buildings to various religious groups to build schools for Prairie du Chien. The schools which are most familiar to us living Campion Alumni is of course Campion JHS for boys and St. Marys for girls. His story is best reflected in our bibliography section.
