At the last reunion there was talk of getting together for "mini" reunions, and at one of our late-night sessions Denny and I hatched a plan to visit Halaszyn. Attached are a few pictures from Denny's trip out west. As you can see, Denny liked Las Vegas. Brad came down from San Jose and we visited with Jim for a couple days...bittersweet, but really glad we made the trip. Even got to hang out with Keith for an afternoon and shot some stick while trying to recall the jukebox songs in the frosh rec room. My favorite is still 96 Tears.
Had such a good time that Denny and I are planning another for next year, ('23), to coincide with the golf tourney in Prairie. Neither one of us golfs, but we thought it would be a good time to hang out with the golfers and kick around Prairie. Unlike the golf tourney, we plan to get there on the Thursday before and leave either the next Monday or Tuesday. We're thinking about hiking around Pike's Peak, Wyalusing, the bluffs, and maybe a day trip to La Crosse. Brad is up for it, as is Rhomberg, and at one point Roll said he would like to go. I know we can get the Wildman from Cedar Rapids to join us, and probably talk Dudek into going as well. Denny and I also discussed reinvigorating the Prairie chapter of SDS, (Students for Dominic Savio), so start thinking about Prairie in June '23.
