Coloramic Musicales

Prof deRanitz

The Coloramic Musicales were the spring concerts, featuring massed organs (mostly Hammonds) and the full orchestra (marching band plus whatever others we had).

  • Joel Sinkule was outstanding on the tympanis.
  • The 1956 first chair organ was Foley "Horky" Horkheimer.
  • The first chair in 1958 was a sophomore from Minnesota.
  • Ward Doering sat second organ in both shows.

The '58 show broke our '56 show's world record for the largest collection of organs in a single concert.
